Michael D. Hashim
Attorney Hashim is a founding partner of Hashim and Spinola. He has extensive experience in real estate and commercial transactions having completed over 5,000 transactions in his career.
Attorney Hashim has appeared and tried cases in all courts of the Commonwealth, including the U.S. District Court, the Superior Courts, District Courts, and Housing Courts in Berkshire County and other counties. After graduating from Suffolk Law School in 1975, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County where he worked with District Attorney John Droney and former Secretary of State and U.S. Senator John Kerry before entering private practice in Pittsfield.

He concentrates his practice in real estate purchase and sale; representation of businesses, including business formation of corporations, and LLCs; purchase and sale of businesses; business litigation; real estate litigation; business disputes; probate of estates; litigation involving estates and wills; and other general civil litigation. His transactional experience spans a broad range of transactions from beginning to end. Michael has represented a broad range of clients, including real estate investors involved with real estate and business transactions. He has advised these investors on joint ventures, hotel management and purchase, Small Business Administration loans, condominium developments, and leasing transactions.
